"I ADORE my bed. I felt a little beleaguered when I ordered it because the Amish bed I had been using for 20 years stayed with my ex-husband when I moved. So I was missing that bed. But this one is absolutely perfect. It is gorgeous beyond belief, the wood is beautifully finished, the design is simple but elegant, it feels solid without looking heavy and it matches some very old 1908 furniture I have. It doesn't squeak or anything. I could not be happier with this bed and I'm saying this completely unsolicited by anyone .... this bed has supplanted my other one as my favorite bed ever. And the people at Amish Tables were a delight to work with. I never write these kinds of things but I felt compelled to because they have given me such a beautiful product and been so easy to work with. I wish I had room for another bed somewhere else! The one thing I do regret, however, is that there aren't matching nightstands that I like. I would like something not too heavy, a drawer with it open below, ending in a shelf near the floor....But alas, nothing of that sort...Anyway, thank you so much.
