Stains and Finishes

For maximum durability, we use satin RESISTOVAR for all of our finishes. RESISTOVAR is a high quality, high solids, performance coating for furniture, cabinets, office furnishings and other interior wood products. It has excellent adhesion, hardness, superior abrasion resistance (compared to lacquers), and exceptional resistance to water, solvents, and household chemicals.

We carry a variety of stains for cherry and red oak made by FINISHWORKS. When you are close to a purchase decision we will send you actual pieces of red oak or cherry with different stains and the actual finish so that you can see what they will look like in your own home.

If you have a specific stain you want to match, if you send us a piece of wood with the stain on it (a drawer front, a molding, etc.) we can custom match it, send you a piece of wood with our stain on it, for you confirmation and approval. (for an added fee).
