FAQ
How many people can the Harper Trestle Table seat?
Most families seat 4 to 6 guests comfortably on the base sizes, with room for additional guests when extensions are added.
Does the table include leaf self storage?
Yes. The Harper includes standard self storage for leaves that meet the storage guidelines. Our team can confirm which combinations will store internally for the size you choose.
What makes wooden geared equalizer slides beneficial?
These slides allow the table to open smoothly and evenly, so one person can extend the table without strain. It preserves the alignment and stability of the top over time.
Which wood type is best for a smooth, modern look?
Hard Maple and Brown Maple offer a cleaner, more uniform grain that pairs well with contemporary spaces. If you prefer visible grain character, Quarter Sawn White Oak or Rustic Cherry are excellent choices.
Is this table durable enough for everyday use?
Yes. The Harper is built from solid hardwood with a reinforced trestle base. It is designed to handle the demands of daily family life for many years.
What is the average lead time?
Handcrafted dining tables typically take 8 to 12 weeks, depending on finish selection and seasonality. Quality takes time, and every table is made to order.
